Dark Chocolate Florentines
two cup cornflakes
half cup sultanas
half cup flaked almonds
quarter cup cranberries
quarter cup mixed peel
quarter cup glazed cherries
quarter cup brazil nuts, chopped
three quarter cup sweetened condensed milk
two hundred and fifty grams dark chocolate
one/ preheat oven to one hundred and eighty degrees
two/ combine all dry ingredients and fold through sweetened condensed milk
three/ cluster mixture together into five cm rounds on a lined baking tray
four/ bake for ten-fifteen minutes or until golden. Remove and allow to cool completely.
five/ melt dark chocolate over a saucepan of simmering water
six/ turn the cooled florentines upside down and use a spoon to coat the flat side of the florentines with the melted dark chocolate. Allow to set.
